SOS is a campaign to lobby and persuade MPs and Lords to challenge and resist the expansion of large scale solar farms. This campaign’s first messages are about the oversupply in the project pipeline and the huge areas of land up for grabs. And ‘grabs’ is the the right word – most if this land will be owned by the developers, and will never be farmland again.
SOS was due to launch at the Houses of Parliament on 21st July but has had to be re-scheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. We will update on the revised date when we have it.
