The consultation period is here!
Now’s the time to tell Kingsway what you think!
The consultation period for the proposed Kingsway Solar Farm runs from 17 September to 29 October 2025. This is a critical time for our community.
Every objection letter counts, and the more responses Kingsway receives, the stronger our collective voice will be.
Where to find the details of the proposal
Kingsway’s full PEIR documents are available to download on their website: Kingsway Solar Farm website. These run to thousands of pages. We recommend you begin with their 65-page non-technical summary.
All feedback submitted during this time must be considered and included in a report to the Planning Inspectorate.
How to object
Written objections are the most effective way to show opposition. Each individual response adds weight to the concerns raised by local residents. The more letters we send, the more notice they will have to take!
Details of how to do this can be found at the Kingsway website, but we recommend that you:
- send an email in whatever format you wish to enquiries@kingswaysolar.co.uk
- copy us into your email at hello@kingswayaction.org
- consider sending a copy of your response to your MP (who is likely to be pippa.heylings.mp@parliament.uk) and your local councillor (likely to be Geoff Harvey cllr.harvey@scambs.gov.uk).

We have superimposed Kingsway’s proposed solar panel layout onto an Ordnance Survey map, so you can easily see how it relates to familiar landmarks and local areas. There is also a high resolution map, if you want to see the full detail.
What’s next
This is just the beginning. More information, resources, and updates will follow very soon.
Together, we can ensure that every resident is informed and empowered to take action.
Once the consultation process has taken place we will update the website to include details of how to object to the planning application. We will need as many objectors to Kingsway Solar as possible.
