Day 2 – Wildlife at risk
📍 Two hours of walking…this isn’t farming, it’s an industrial takeover.
🐾 Wildlife and habitats at risk
- Large-scale panels replace natural farmland habitats
- Fences block deer, hares and other wildlife corridors
- Birds lose cover and feeding grounds, reducing local biodiversity
- Although Kingsway state it will be decommissioned after 40 years, the land is unlikely to return to farmland after years of industrial use.
