Kingsway Solar Community Action
"Yes to Solar. No to Kingsway."

What is the Kingsway Solar proposal?

Kingsway Solar wants to install solar panels and large storage batteries on 1,500 hectares (3,706 acres) of farmland near Balsham, West Wratting, Weston Colville, Willingham Green, and Carlton in Cambridgeshire.

This industrial-scale development will cover an area larger than Heathrow Airport and will fundamentally change the land use, heritage and character of our countryside.

Who are we?

Kingsway Solar Community Action is a group of concerned local people who believe solar projects should be smaller, part of a national plan that protects certain landscapes and land uses, and designed to provide direct benefits to local communities, such as lower energy costs.

We want to give you all the information you need about this application, including important deadlines and what you can do. We also want your support to help us reject this proposal.
